Six Tens Pinch

If you own a copy of our DVD, The Sh*t You've Never Seen, you saw that I did this feat way back in 2005, but I decided not to add myself to the official gripboard list until I did it again on tape.

I've missed in front witnesses several times after Grip Contests while doing feats of strength. Finally, this week I got it done when a camera was around.

I am proud to join Wade Gillingham, Heath Sexton, and Richard Sorin on this very short list. Here's the video:

Elite shit man. I dont understand why you were not added to the list years ago when you did it for the DVD.

On a related pinch issue, how did you work to jump between big plates- the first jump from 25's to 35's and when you jumped from 35's to 45's?

The jumps were tough for me, dude. It took about a year or so in between 25's and 35's and from 35's to 45's. It took me about 2 years to go from 5 dimes to 6 dimes. I didn't do a lot of specific training during that time, so it might have taken a bit less time if I had, but not much. My suggestion for someone who wants to accomplish a lot of pinch feats over time is to just work a variety of widths.

Get good at everything.
