Recently I have fallen in love with the speed bag. I am getting better every day, but I am nowhere close to this marvelous bag striker.
Steve MacDonald arrived at the Arnold Classic this past weekend to do battle with some of the best Strongman competitors the world has to offer. Unfortunately, Steve came down with a terrible sickness, but he stuck it out through the entire contest for an 8th place finish. One incredible highlight is that he completed a lift of a 500 plus pound atlas stone, as you can see in this video.
I've seen some people asking What is an EVD? in response to the announcement of the 2006 Global Grip Challenge EVD product.
EVD stands for Electronic Video Disc. Why is this different from a DVD? Because I am willingly allowing you to take the footage from our contest and rip it from the disc itself and add it to your personal collection of electronic digital footage of yourself and of the athletes who competed in last year's contest. This has not been an option in past years, because they have been DVD format.
Once you get the disc, post your favorite highlights on youtube, myspace, or your own blog or site.
